It has begun!

Dear FWC family,

It has begun! Just this week Jenny Blair and her faithful team of volunteers have begun assembling all of the supplies needed for our fall Missions Garage Sale. This project began as just an “idea” for raising a few dollars for the June Family Mexico Mission trip. God has richly blessed it into a huge church-wide and even community event. This past spring it provided almost 40% of all the funding needed for our summer mission. There are many ways to get involved so be watching the bulletin for specifics. The dates of the sale are:

• Friday evening, Oct. 18th – 6-8pm (FWC members only pre-sale)

• Saturday, Oct. 19th – 7am-Noon

This Sunday we’ll hit the halfway mark in our Lord’s Prayer series with, “Thy Will Be Done.” I have really enjoyed my study time in preparation for each message and appreciate the many of you who have mentioned you’re praying for me. Keep it up!

I have heard many good comments regarding our fall Sunday School kickoff and want to thank all of our teachers who spend time each week preparing for their students. Please make sure and thank them when you see them.
