Missions Committee

Dear FWC Family,

This past Monday evening, our Missions Committee met to read and share reports from the missionaries we support, to plan for our 2014 mission budget and trips, and to spend time in prayer. It was a very encouraging evening! We truly believe God has led us to the very men and women He would have us team with. On Sunday, October 20th, we will dedicate our service to missions. We’ll be sharing about our 2014 mission efforts along with kicking off the Operation Christmas Child program we’ve been involved in for 10 years. Also, make sure and mark your calendars for Sunday afternoon, October 27th. We will be hosting a “send-off” fellowship for Ron, Christy and Grant in the Outreach Center as they prepare to depart for Honduras.

This Sunday we’ll continue in our Lord’s Prayer sermon series with Confession; “Forgive Us”. This lesson delves into the very basic fundamentals of how we not only enter into the Christian life, but how we continually walk in a “lifestyle” of confession and forgiveness. I can’t wait to share it with you.
