FWC News From Randy

Dear FWC family,

Last Thursday after writing my weekly letter, I headed out to pick up a few last Fall Family Fest supplies. It proved to be harder than I expected. The stores were already moving Christmas decorations into the prominent shopping spots and all the supplies I was looking for were sadly stuffed in the hard to find areas. Yes, we’re that close! Christmas is now just under seven weeks away. Shopping, programs, concerts and planning are already beginning. I am looking forward to our three-week Christmas series – Journey to the Manger, which will begin on Dec. 8th. Would you be praying that hearts will turn to God this Christmas season?

This Sunday we’ll be in week 3 of our not a fan series. We’ll meet a fan and a follower of Jesus in the same story from Luke 7. This is an intensely personal story of intimacy and forgiveness. I pray that it will move your heart like it has moved mine as I’ve prepared this week.

Men, make sure and plan on being at our prayer breakfast this coming Saturday. We’ll meet at 8am in the Outreach Center for a hearty breakfast and time of fellowship and prayer. You’ll be blessed if you come!!!

Stay warm and dry and we’ll see you Sunday.

In Christ,

Randy

“Now one of the Pharisees asked Jesus to have dinner with him, so he went into the Pharisee’s house and took his place at the table.”
