FWC News From Randy

January 16, 2014

Dear FWC family,

Well, the “New Year” is underway and I am excited. Our Sunday School classes launched last week and our attendance was good. I am going to encourage you often to make the commitment to be here for bible study. We have excellent, God fearing and gifted teachers who really love the Word of God. They are spending time studying and praying for their students. How could you not want to take advantage of that!

Our men’s Mexico Construction Mission is quickly coming together and looks to be a very productive and effective work. Buddy Blair and Ray Nabholz are at the Matamoros Children’s Home today to plan, coordinate and pray with Dr. Camacho. Buddy will share more details this Sunday. There is still time to sign up if you’re considering this mission!

This Sunday we’ll begin our new series from the book of Daniel: Living by Faith in a Secular World. I’m confident that we’re going to find that the actions and events in Daniel are going to teach us how to live a distinctly Christian life in our own secular culture. Our first week’s sermon text will be Daniel 2:24-35, 44-46. We’ll be looking in detail at “The Dream of the Kingdom.”

Don’t forget to check out the “Save the Date” section of the bulletin this weekend. We have posted most the major FWC events of the year that you won’t want to miss!

Serving Him,

Randy

“Daniel replied, “There are no wise men, enchanters, magicians, or fortune-tellers who can reveal the king’s secret. But there is a God in heaven who reveals secrets.”

Daniel 2:27,28a
